I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), specializing in International Relations and Political Methodology.
My research interests primarily center around civil wars, non-state actors, and quantitative research methods. I am currently focusing on a variety of research projects. My ongoing research projects include "Third-Party Support and Civilian Suffering in Proxy Wars", "Why Do Firms Fund Violent Non-State Actors," "Border Instability and the Rise of Populism in Europe," and "Forensic Technology and the Tulsa Race Massacre."
I hold a master's degree in Political Science from UCLA and a master's degree in International Studies from UC Irvine. Additionally, I hold a Master of Laws in Public International Law, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (magna cum laude) from the University of Tehran, Iran.
